TRANSFORM your Travel: Luxury 5-Day Nile Cruise Luxor-Aswan

Room: The space was ok and clean. But the room didn’t feel sturdy. Some parts of the flooring were “soft” and when stepped on went inwards. The bed was as also crazy hard and felt like a rock. Many of my tour mates agreed. Toilet: Water pressure was really weak. The soap and shampoo were not good quality and basically could use one shower gel for each shower. Hairdryer was also pathetic. Also, no dental kit was provided. Wifi: no wifi available which was fine. But the PAID wifi was only available in the bar and reception which was ??? Food: Mediocre most of the time. Garlic bread wasn’t hot and always ran out. The chef cooked meals (roast beef, salmon etc) was always dry. Fried stuff was ok though. They DID NOT have water available during meals which was ???. Overall not the best experience I had during my time in Egypt.

We have mixed opinions about this cruise. First of all, they bring you from Aswan to Luxor only to see temples. So those expecting more should know that it’s all about temples and nothing more. The ship itself seems a little run-down and old. Our first floor room was spacious but no balcony, though they had full windows to look out from. The journey was smooth and beautiful but gets a little overwhelming with rushed schedules every morning, sometimes starting from 4am. The restaurant staff were all wonderful: full of smiles and welcoming. Food could have been a little more variable but was good enough for all kinds of tastes. I’m impressed by the manager, who made sure we were on board once when the tour company dropped us off at another gate. However, I’m a little skeptical of the approach of Mr. Hero at the front desk. I felt he was full of sarcasm and not very polite.Over all a one time only experience is good enough for me.

We stayed 3 nights on the Concerta 2, Nile cruise. Arranged by our travel agency  saffraanreizen.nl We were kindly received on board. Below deck on both sides luxury cabins with private balcony. The cabin is taken care of, tea and coffee, refrigerator, air conditioning and toiletries are provided. Wifi is paid per 24 hours. Even towels for the pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is in the restaurant. In the lobby is a day's overview. The food was really delicious, varied, vegetarian, desserts really something for everyone. We did not have tickets for Kom Ombo, as we would do that on the spot. An employee at the front desk, asked about it and arranged tickets for us through a guide on board. This surprised us to no end. They are incredibly friendly and helpful, from cleaning, kitchen doesn't matter.  When we returned to a clean cabin, a swan or other artwork was waiting for us, compliments. They care about us, the positive way, absolutely not pushy! For example, due to time we had to take a carriage to the temple of Edfu. Staff walked with us, stopped someone and made it clear that we really had to be back in time. Because the language is and remains a big problem. Conclusion: we recommend to everyone the them cruise.

On November 25, we started our family trip. We have been super comfortable and very protected at all times. We've seen a lot of security throughout. Very friendly and professional staff. The waiters a charm, Ibrahim and Ahmed, our waiters are very friendly people and I work very professionally. The food, of course very different from ours was very good, there are things we liked more than others of course. But overall very good. Presentation of excellent meals. The rooms very nice and the boat too. There will be better boats, surely, but this one is of a higher standard. It's not a cruise ship like Costa or MSC, it goes down a river, big but a river. An unforgettable experience for everyone, the cruise is very welcoming and was very clean, the staff very nice, the varied food, there was both typical Egyptian and international food, for all tastes, I lacked gluten-free bread, because gluten-free there were not many options, the pool a little small, served to give you a soak as we sailed and contemplate from there the sunset, the store also had good prices, and has a small gym, overall very well.

It is crucial to thoroughly research and compare the various options and operators, as the quality of facilities, onboard service and excursions offered can vary significantly between agencies, ensuring the best possible experience.

On this boat the most important thing to highlight is the friendliness of the staff. Unsurpassed, helpful, friendly, friendly and even a little joking. Climbing the Nile with its incredible views is already a luxury. The bike is correct with spacious suites that all face the Nile. However, it is rating that better times have passed, in fact it was not used since 2011. Eating and Bar Service is fine. Highly recommended everything as a whole. In the end you carry the hotel in tow.

The bike is renovated and rating, the room was spacious and new, the only thing that made noise was the air conditioning. The food is quite a European buffet, we would have liked to try more Egyptian food. The deck and the pool very well for sunbathing, bathing or watching the spectacular scenery pass. Very nice staff.
